Any mods out there to make the AI better in TMA? I remember there being something like that in TDS.

What improvements are you looking for? Higher poly models and improved skins are available. Increased vision and hearing are available. Links forthcoming...

Oh I was totally unaware graphical updates were availbable for TMA. Yeah links would be appreciated. I'm looking for AI as well though.

I still don't know what you mean by "make the AI better" if this didn't answer your needs. Do you mean more kinds, then? That's FM-building territory.

Blossoms?

The Ultimate Difficulty Mod tweaks the AI's behavior, but I'm not sure "better" is the right word. They don't get new actions or show any new intelligence, though the sneaking becomes a little more realistic (and certainly more challenging).

I thought the ultimate difficulty mod makes them notice opened doors (and missing loot? maybe not? :S) and certain other things they may not otherwise notice - certainly they don't in thief 1 - i can't remember about thief 2.
Erm also what is different in those ai mesh pictures to normal thief 2? No doubt i am just being blind? Apart from the rim of their helmets and slight change to the swords i can't really see anything :S Although the woman does appear to be broken somehow

That's a falling raindrop in the middle of the woman's face. As for these AI, they are significantly higher poly than the originals. If you compare them side by side, it's more obvious.
