I'm trying to get my servant to look like she's washing something.
Do I need a conversation for that? I thought conversations were only for 2 or more actors.
I tried The property: Add>Motion>ActorTagList>[motion text] where I once read that the motion will loop continuously. I tried using conv 7 and my servant just stood there with her arms out. So I tried Bar, Baz (Move arms as if counting or conducting music) - no reaction, jut stood there fidgeting.
Next I tried AI>AICore>Motion Tags: Bar, Baz, and then Conv 7. With Bar, Baz she always just stands there; with Conv 7, she stands with her arms up and out to the side.
If there is a tutorial about getting AI who are not in conversations with other AI to perform actions, please let me know.

Hey I found a GMDB demo - gonna check it out. Maybe it will show me what to do ;)

Nope. Way too complicated for me.

You can delete this thread. I found a way to do it using the link AIWatch Object :D

Just for clarification, you can have conversations with a single actor. Conversation is a bit of a misnomer here, as it really is just the most complete means of scripting stuff, and doesn't have to necessarily involve a spoken conversation. However, as you found an AIWO link is an easier way to do simple motions.

And mods don't just delete threads because people ask.
:cheeky:

And especially since there is useful information to be found here. :D

I think you can delete it yourself but there's no need to. Also the mods don't like it when people triple (or more) post. You can edit your post with new content. :)

Okay, guys. I made the comment about deleting the thread back when it looked like I was just mumbling to myself here. Since more of you came on, now it looks to be a more useful thing.

You could delete the request to delete the thread ... :ebil:
