Thanks for the wishes guys. I don't usually post about what I get up to but I'm over the hill now so what the hell.

Was on a night shift til 8am on Thursday morning which meant I had the day to prepare for a night out with work mates. Ended up in some club with a lot of the juniors, which made me feel old, but at least I could handle all the drinks I was bought whilst they were in a mess.

Friday (the actual day) was a lovely drive down to London (and I have my car/Mazda to thank for my new love of driving) and a chilled couple of beers with friends.

Saturday. Saturday we went on a boat, yes like on a big blue (brown?) watery road, up and down the Thames from 4pm til late. This was not just a boat, it was a techno boat, 2 floors of the kind of dance you never hear in your average club because it's just too good. Great trip, great friends, lovely people on the boat, and banging tunes as the sun slowly went down and we danced all the way past so many landmarks (and sewage plants!) way beyond the Thames flood barriers and back. Then out to London Bridge. I don't know what time we got back in.

I'm still knackered but still smiling. :thumb:
