FWIW Mr Duck, I think all the pics you've posted look great. The Chiles En Nogada looks really nice. I'm a big fan of stuffed things and stuffed chillies or peppers are great! In the UK we get this chilli stuffed with potatoes and more chilli and then deep fried in a light batter at select Indian places. Not your usual white boy Indian restaurant though with chicken rogan josh, dupiaza, madras, vindaloo etc, but places where Indians and Pakistanis actually go to get a taste of home.
And I'll have a paper plain dosa and idlis to go with it.

Just so you know, I actually stooped so low as to eat taco bell today.
It was actually OK, but that was just because I ordered a cheesy bean and rice burrito instead of something with beef. Even taco bell can't mess up nacho sauce.

You have got to be kidding. He said "honey-chipotle BBQ", so that's clearly what the red sauce is, and the white stuff is, get this--
cheese.
A chipotle is a smoked jalapeno pepper.

Is it now? No way I was using horse-radish as a flavor comparison for that red stuff on the chicken, I assumed they were naturally that color and texture. Thanks for clarifying what chipotle tastes like though.
