Taco Bell fulfills that earthy need; it's not just for your stomach, it's to satisfy your fucking soul.
Would you satisfy your soul with mild, medium, or hot sauce?

Ha ha! Shopped!
And I don't believe the rat is real either.
Fortunately the refried beans and guacamole each contain more than 10% animal protein, bringing the average up considerably.

It's my
fucking soul. And I'll take the hot sauce, thank you kindly.

I'll eat one of -these- babies any day of the week instead
I would (generally) as well, but there's a certain overhead to just popping off for that sort of thing for lunch around here. My brain doesn't even place Taco Bell's food in the same category as the pictures you posted--one is basically fast food, and the other isn't.
As far as fast food goes, I have yet to find anything that can touch Taco Bell. Their food is cheap, decent-tasting (as far as that sort of thing goes), and--here's the kicker--
reasonably healthy. You can order utter crap, yeah, but they have a large menu with a good variety and they fully support substituting low calorie/healthy alternatives. Chicken or steak can be swapped in for beef on just about any item, and their Fresco menu is actually pretty good. Taco Bell isn't the best for keeping sodium levels under control, yeah, but they provide reasonable fast food for anyone looking to get a fair amount of protein/nutrients without a massive caloric overhead.
I unapologetically love Taco Bell.

... and I've been telling you guys for three-years, now, fast food is not food.
What makes food food
Renzatic on 26/1/2011 at 17:34
The foodiness of it. If it doesn't kill you after eating it, then it's food.
Taco Bell is considered food by this technicality.
PeeperStorm on 26/1/2011 at 18:57
Technically then, coins and dirt can be considered food.

Agree. Taco Bell can't be compared to real food or good food. It fills its own niche.
