Alabama sues taco bell; alleges 'taco filling' is less then 35% beef - by Bluegrime

Technically, yeah. Doesn't mean I'm gonna go out of my way to eat some dirt and coins.
Not again, anyway.
edit: you know, considering all the love people are giving to Taco Bell, maybe the reason I don't like them is because I have a bunch of shitty, poorly managed Taco Bells in my area. I can't think of any other reason why anyone with tastebuds could like that slurry of huuuuhhh they call beef, otherwise.

Because I either get my Taco Bell without beef--again, an option--or the beef itself isn't the central flavor agent in most Taco Bell menu items?

Technically then, coins and dirt can be considered food.
Pennies give you that coppery goodness we all need.
5 out of 4 water-heads agree, you know.

...one is basically fast food, and the other isn't.
I'm gonna have to correct you a bit there, homes.
You'd be surprised how many types of tacos tend to come out as quick as any fast food joint, making it our brand of fast food :)
Even seafood tacos :D
It pretty much depends A)the place you go for tacos and B)how efficient the taco makers are despite the small or large crowd.
But hey, if you love the Bell, no one holds it against you. Cheers!
:)
Oh God......deep fried shrimp tacos....OM NOM NOM!!!
Renz - You'd be surprised how tasty the cheese + shrimp combo is :o

*remembers years ago when her dad came for a visit from Michigan, and asked if Taco Bell was the Mexican phone company for Dallas.
Lame but true, they don't have Taco Bell in Michigan, its a legitimate question.

Hey BrokenArts!
MrDuck, I completely agree. I've been to Mexico and have had fantastic and fast tacos.
I do think, however, that Taco Bell is its own beast and shouldn't be confused with good food. I don't eat Taco Bell for quality purposes :) Hopefully that eliminates some confusion from my end. Taco Bell's tacos (and burritos) only can be called tacos because they have a tortilla in some form or fashion wrapped around them. To me that's about the only similarity between Taco Bell and authentic Mexican or even just Tex-Mex cuisine.
It's the same thing as calling McDonald's hamburgers a hamburger... sure, it *looks* like one and technically has all the necessary ingredients, but it doesn't really taste like one, or at least a remotely good one. The main difference here is I do like the taste of Taco Bell, but not in the same way as I would like authentic tacos or burritos.
(I actually never eat Taco Bell's beef... haven't in at least about 8 - 10 years. Typically I would order their regular items with beans substituted for beef if they call for it... they did actually have a shrimp taco for a short while not too long ago that was pretty good. I also don't eat McDonald's hamburgers, and I only eat Taco Bell about once every third month or so.)

Yeah, Ducky either isn't familiar with "fast food" or he's intentionally being obtuse.
Either way, I don't have lunchtime access to his tacos so his point would be lost on me even if it existed in the first place.
For the record, I would love lunchtime access to his tacos :(
