Can I just say I'd like to marry the person / people who are responsible for the tags?
I'm just annoyed that I came too late to the party and it won't let me add any, because the limit has been reached.

Yeah, there were a couple I wanted to add too :(

I've played Alien Swarm, and it's fun, but the game is pretty difficult and full friendly fire is a pain in the ass unless everyone you play with is a veteran of the game- no option to disable it.
And of course, any suggestion on the official forums involving optionally disabling friendly fire is met with pages of THAT'S NOT HOW THE GAME WORKS L2P, so there's no workaround.

Good starting point, thanks.

No joke, I watched it every, single day over summer vacation in 1988. That was ~90 views that summer alone. I wore out my VHS copy and had to get a new one for Christmas. I have since watched it probably 15-20 times since then, too. As a matter of fact, AMC (American Movie Classics, a cable movie channel) played Alien, Aliens, and Alien: Resurrection back-to-back last weekend, and I watched all 3. Dunno whyt they omitted Alien 3.
Oh, and I have the honorable distinction of having watched Aliens in the THEATRE. I was 11 or 12, and it was the first 'R' rated movie I ever saw in theatres, boy was it scary.

When Alien Directors Cut came out they played it in the theatres that hallowe'en. But there were only 4 theatres in canada that played it. Edmonton, 2 in toronto, and 1 in hamilton or something. and i had JUST moved from Toronto to London like 2 weeks before. i wasn't even alive in '79 and seeing it on the big screen would've been amazing. I was pretty pissed.
And I'd really like to know what is wrong with the Alien Swarm Community, you ask any question they don't like and they jump down your throat. I wish somebody would give us SOME update as to what is going on with Infested.. but if you ask on the forum you'll get screamed at.

The irony, it is killing me.

But that is the beauty of it. A game that you do indeed, need team work, a mic and some like minded buddies. Hard as fuck but it's incredibly rewarding at the same time. I wouldn't want it any other way.
Not that TKs didn't cause their (

Make no mistake, I love the game, but it's a pain to get a good LAN game going with some friends because unless you're familiar with the game, you are going to get your ass handed to you repeatedly.
