Heh, the ending of that trailer reminds me of an advertisement for the Jaguar version of AvP1 oh so many years ago. "You can be the alien. You can be the Predator. Or you can be lunch."

Looks pretty damn cool if you ask me. I like the trophy kills, and the jumping mechanism - beats constantly falling off the square-collision-boxed trees at the start of AVP2! Shame the aliens still seem to be 10-a-penny cannon fodder, but at least they seemed pretty deadly in hand-to-hand.
It's also a shame that they're making (or being forced to make) concessions to the godawful AVP movies.

I'm fairly sure that I did, though I know I never managed to finish the Aliens campaign without saves.
I also agree with TF. AvP was great (though the dated graphics and the fact that it doesn't work properly on my computer now makes me uneager to play it again), whereas AvP2 just felt cheap and forced, with too many cheesy references to the films and scripted sequences. I never played past the first few levels of each race in it.
AvP, especially without saves, was possibly the tensest game I've played. I specifically remember playing as a predator and being almost dead and low on power, hiding in a corner and waiting for my energy to recharge enough to use my medicomp, with the sound of aliens getting closer, each one jumping out at me bringing me that much closer to death before I could bring them down with my wristblade or speargun, all while my energy was still too low to use the medicomp. Great times!

Looks pretty cool. I just hope there isn't some stupid button-mashing event to survive close combat with aliens a la Space Hulk.
