Well, I thought the game sounded very promising until reading the feedback on the demo, and seeing some screenshots. Not particularly interested anymore now.

What the fuck? There's plenty of console FPS games that allow crouching. Jesus Christ so much bawww in so few words. Fuck I hate this place sometimes.

Well they have ballsed up the Alien controls, no doubt about it. With the transition on permanently you end up going places you weren't aiming, with it off the pressing to transition is not smooth. Why not reuse the excellent controls they had in original AvP.
I got to play as the Predator and tbh there is little point in the vision modes. It makes the "other" enemy hard to see so having it off is probably easier. This may have affected my other gripe - I couldn't for the life of me use the projectile weapons. I had the Disc and could select it in the weapons menu/HUD but couldn't use it. Perhaps I needed to be in a specific vision mode. I lost connection and can't be bothered to go back. This game isn't really suited to DM imho. I'd rather have larger maps with goals like attack this, defend that, activate this, stop the enemy doing X. In fact this would be well suited to L4D type MP campaigns. That would be great.

Once I managed to get into a game (which took forever), I was placed as a predator (couldn't figure out how to change) and... it was boring. way slower than the original, and generally uneventful. meh
