What exactly is the mousewheel being used for as a xeno, anyway?

Hold down mousewheel and run into walls to run on them if you're too wimpy to face the vertigo and have transition always on.

That's not a mouse wheel, that's a third mouse button. How many people don't have one of those? (Personally, I can't stand mice without five.)

if they came in non-enthusiast models that worked I'd probably get one.
I'm a big fan of steam.... But I've gotta say, they need to make a real download manager. I've had to restart my download 6 times. and every time i get dropped I have to start over.
and I'm less than 1000 miles from Seattle.

They have servers all over, you know. You're probably getting connected to one that's a bit fuzzy.

Yeah, I've tried Seattle, Denver, and Toronto, its the same at all 3.
Now actually it seems to be working.
Before it would just say "starting download" and do nothing until I launched the game that wasn't there. I'm 25% done now and crossing my fingers for the next 6 hours or so. I guess enough people have finished dloading.
at 15gb a preload would've been nice.
And in the minimum requirements on the steam page it says 4.5 gb. details steam... details!

15 versus 4.5 ? holy shit
