There's nothing wrong with criticizing a game's faults but FFS you consistently make it sound like FEAR 2 not having 5-button mouse support is akin to anally raping your mother while pouring sugar in your gas tank. Yes FEAR 2 has no leaning, yes it doesn't have 5-button mouse support, yes its multiplayer is shit like every other fucking MP component of a singleplayer game in the last ten years, but these are not ~*gamebreaking faults*~.

The difference is I've played FEAR 2 on PC from start to finish about three times and even bought and completed the Single Player DLC.
Meanwhile you've never played Tripwire's take on Killing Floor and thus unfairly bash it solely because the author of the old mod version (which has little relevance to a retail release by an entirely different developer) was a dick to you on ModDB.

The difference is that are Evenbalance up front about it and games which want to install Punkbuster generally GIVE YOU A CHOICE (opt in). Unless you're masochist and love having your good times ruined by cheaters, there's always plenty of pirated servers that are unprotected for you to play on to your heart's content.

I've raged and ranted about Bioshock 1's faults (and Invisible War too, but probably not here), but hey, I still enjoyed it for what they was. Enough to blind buy BS2 upon release since it was so heavily discounted.

Well, tried the multiplayer for the first time.
Jesus Harold Christ, it's unplayable. Just finding a game is time consuming due to the utter lack of a browser, and if there is a way to join matches in progress it's well hidden. Plus, no autobalance so rage quits + no join in progress means the teams are going to end up unbalanced.
Not to mention how the whole stealth kill mechanic is much less fun when it's you being stealth killed. I'm not sure giving 2/3s of all players instant kill backstabs was such a grand idea.

Finally found a game, matchmaking isn't broken, it's just that nobody is playing it. And I can see why, it looks horrible, it's laggy, feels unbalanced.
