Thanks for sharing some of the German version, Beleg. There are a couple of threads that attempted to break the scene down. And TDS seems to have confirmed more guesses about things that are seen and heard than not.
More about Gamall's many possible disguises over the decades:
SM3GamallFollowupScribe_006000, m12c1106: "Keeper Raines said that they think she's extended her life. They're checking the books. Assuming she's had to change her appearance...her name...who knows how many times."
SM3GamallFollowupScribe_007000, m12c1107: "She must have found glyphs that we don't know about. Gamall's knowledge of glyphs may be well in excess of any Elder. Might...use them to shapeshift...extend her life. But to do that--she needs an energy source...something organic...something...human. Thakery says she's been to blame for all the troubles...murders, missing books, disappearances...everything."

In the Library, the child Gamall grows taller at alert level 0 if no AI are around and she hasn't seen you? Really? Pretty cool if it's true.

Can I get some verification on this? I may have to load up a savegame to find out for myself, but if anybody knows about this, I'd like to hear from you.
Haha! Another totally inadvertant
Alice in Wonderland connection, AND it may be "just" a glitch of that AI model, but if it's the only one, then it's a happy coincidence! :D

Unintentional glitch in my opinion. I haven't noticed any sort of pattern to the size changes, and a glitch is quite probable since child Gamall is the only human model of unusual size in the game.

I've never found child Gamall in the game, is she in the PC-version?
And where is she?

The Forbidden Library, and she's in all versions. I couldn't tell you off the top of my head which Day you have to get to before you'll have a chance to see her, but it's before Caduca is murdered.
RavynousHunter on 28/3/2008 at 23:06
I saw her. You have to infiltrate the Forbidden Library before Caduca dies. Shes on the 2nd or 3rd floor, overlooking the main library, if I remember correctly.
And fyi, she doesnt die... I tried... For 2 hours.
jtr7 on 28/3/2008 at 23:14
Thanks for trying. Did she just act like any AI on high-alert looking for an intruder?
RavynousHunter on 28/3/2008 at 23:24
Before maniacally stabbing her like an escaped lunatic, no, because I was hidden at the time. After, yeah, she ran like Leeroy.

Oh, most assuredly examples of the Grey Lady's handiwork.

Now here, I'm not sure if either of these can be laid DIRECTLY at Gamall's feet; I think she was off the ship by the time it docked in harbour, and that it's more likely the ship is, in all actuality, haunted in some way; yes, the crew was most likely killed by Gamall, and then subsequently joined the ranks of the Undead after she left the ship on open water; they reanimated through no interference or desire of her own - no necromancy here.
Makes for a better story, to me.
