You're welcome, Bukary. Deadman gives the correct title of "Archmage" to Corino. My post incorrectly titled him "Mage." It's been updated.
I don't know if you're interested in other kinds of names like:
The Hand
The Inner Circle
The Book of Ash
My list isn't in alphabetical order, but it's listed with TDP towards the top and TMA towards the bottom. Eventually I'll have a database similar to what deadman is working on. It'll come in two formats: Chronological (by mission, including briefings and movies) and Alphabetical. Next to each name will be a complete canonical description of who/where/what the name comes from, its context, and who/where/what else is connected to that name. I've been woking on a fanfic with a pal of mine and these resources are valuable to keeping a sense of accuracy and faithfulness.

'The Mervids ("I wonder if he reads the Mervids just for show.")' ...
Which mission's that?
Oh, another one I'll add (deadman probably has it in his complete list anyway): Dewdrop, which is the name of the pagan child's doll in "Trail of Blood".

Oh, another one I'll add (deadman probably has it in his complete list anyway): Dewdrop, which is the name of the pagan child's doll in "Trail of Blood". It's in the first mission (Baffords), you taffer! I can't believe you don't remember this; try going to the top floor in the library west from the throne room (West if you're facing the throne room). I've always wondered what these books were meself....
Yeah, I had Dewdrop on the list.. That is, if I ever find it :nono:

I remember now. But I always thought he said, "I wonder if he reads them, or if it's just for show?"

I'm pretty sure it is. It can occasionally be confusing if Garrett talks too fast, especially if there's background noise, but I'm almost certain that's what he says. It would make far more sense then "The Mervids"

It would make far more sense then "The Mervids" *sigh* You taffers are probably right, although it would make perfect sense to me for Garrett to mention an elusive text not ever referred to anywhere else. There are a few examples of this (whether of people or places) that are only spoken once and we have such sketchy information about them.. You have to admit he
does string the words together though. "them or if it's" is all one word as far as Mr. Russell is concerned :laff:. Go back to garm0206.wav and tell me I'm not exaggerating ;). It's rather easy to hear something the first time and then every other time after that.. This is why second and third opinions are good.

If English wasn't my first language and they didn't release one in my mother tongue, I too would probably feel inclined to translate everything or at least important names. Bukary is doing his nation a service and for that he rocks!

I think Dowol is probably Donal ("Meanest thou the action on Dowol's thugs?"), and Grand Maltin is probably Grand Mauden - it's been quite a long time since I played either game (been too busy with playing FMs :thumb: ), but I'm pretty sure this appears as a mansion on the map in LotP.
