First off, I am a new member! Wonderful. Now, to business.
I find it a pity that I was unaware of previous Thief titles before my 1-day completion of Thief: Deadly Shadows :tsktsk: . Now that this fact has besmirched my consciousness, and thus caused me to kick myself at such naïveté at playing something without the full story, I must query of a list of any and all Thief titles in existence, so that I may play them in rapid succession with the best possible score.

Officially:
Thief: The Dark Project (The one that started it all)
Thief Gold (Dark Project, tweaked to include 3 new bonus missions, plus a fourth "Blooper" missions)
Thief: The Metal Age (Act two of the trilogy, the last one before Looking Glass studios went under)
Thief: Deadly Shadows (But you knew that)
Then there are hundreds of fan-made missions and games, like T2X (the Thief 2 Expansion). If you do a search, you'll find more about them on this site and thief-thecircle.com. It's highly recommended that you search on your own, since there's SO MUCH.

TDS is T3 because it's the third thief game, but Thief 3 isn't an official name

They dropped the three so the Xbox gamers didn't get confused, or so the story goes.
As a fan of T2:tMA, and having seen the changes made in T: DS. I'm kind of glad of that buffer sometimes.
Beyond that, it's just the three games listed, though T2X is well worth checking out.

That's kind of the thing, see - people here are a different crowd from what you'd get in an RPG forum, Thief itself not being conducive to roleplaying, and as such maintaining a fantasy persona or manner while posting is (as Zylonbane said) likely to get you mocked. We're a bit more down to earth, is all.
