Yeah, I've pretty much seen enough vids of GotG to know that I'm defo going to see it.
One of the things that have become tiresome in sci-fi (see Godzilla for ref) is that much of it has become dull. Its not enough to make a film about something, it has to be fun or interesting. I though Godzilla was really lacklustre. GotG (and I'd never heard of them until last year I think and still know next to nothing about them) seems to be zany enough to be interestingly different.
I must give props to Cpt America 2 though. I'm a bit bored of superhero films (didn't bother with Spiderman 2 or X-Men: Days of) but that had a great energy. This looks like it might have the same. How cruel to modify a racoon like that though - that lifespan line!
