btw, i found out how you can do the embassy without any casualties listed later:
instead of infiltrating, use the front door and sweettalk the guard with casual/professional or sthg. then they are all "green" and you get the most peaceful outcome. together with nasris gate guards you get then the "this is not the spy you are looking for" perk.
yeah, and a shame about g-22 as well.....I tried the sis dialogues with all different options and she just stays neutral.

When you meet Albatross after the yacht mission, you have to ask about the locket. This should raise her disposition to Liked, if you push him enough.

i did that but only lost rep with albatross, what do you mean by push ?, and most importantly, did it have any consequences for you ?

Choose "Locket" and then "Sis". You should gain 3 rep with Sis, and then lose 1 rep with Albatross. Albatross will initially evade discussing the locket or Sis. Once you pick the topic "Sis", Thorton will pointedly explain the significance of the motif on the locket. I'm not sure what consequences this has, if any (haven't finished yet, though).

Xenith - about Mina, if you gather her full dossier, you'll learn that she's actually NSA agent inside AP. Still, I wasn't able to use that in the dialog.
As for Scarlet, I learned that she was the assassin not from Deng, but in the ending sequence, when I chose not to kill Leland. She burst through the door and shot me, and then she killed Leland.
And one more thing, do you know how the game chooses the last boss for you? On the first playthrough I got Yancy with miniguns, on the second I got Leland with rocket launcher, not sure why.

i think it depends on the interrogation by leiland and/or yancy. which attitude you choose.
btw, I let Albatross die in the brako mansion and although he is "defeated" in the dossiers I still can buy stuff from g-22. but I don't think they will turn up again since there is only the rome museum mission and the finale.
and it's really, very hard to piss mina off. anytime you finish a mission or find something out she's ok again. so I had to shoot every hooker and marine I come across and now I am on "animosity" although still not much does change, she just doesn't write any emails but now and then there are nice alterations in dialogue where mike and mina quarrel.

Well, from hearing you guys talk, I decided it was worth a try. Certainly wouldn't be the first $50 mistake I've ever made. That said, I'm having a blast. I really don't get the awful press this game had. The shooter part of it very clearly follows the Deus Ex mechanic where skill won't save you if you don't have skillpoints....but that's how it's supposed to be.
Anyway, probably going to redo the first couple of mission now that I've got a feel for the game. Is stealth, unarmed and assault rifles a workable specialty combination?

unarmed works always. btw, i just finished as baaaaaad mike. killed everybody, tortured, let die, mocked everybody, sided with sis (didn't let her die), and rescued mina so she can shoot scarlet. and got almost all the intel as a as nice guy. but the best asides from the real stomach-turning atrocities you commit are the conversations with mina and albatross, both turn from dislike to animosity to hate. and you can even use minas hate for perks. and bad mike is much better than bad shepard for example, there are some of the best oneliners ever commited right there.
btw, if you don't contact parker but download your pda, omen deng tells you of scarlett. then you can still kill parker AND get the files. and if mina hates you she tells you that she was the one starting it all, sending you rogue.
PS: what do I have to do that SIE leaves the island with me ? she loves me, i killed everybody, we had sex ... but I leave the island alone......
