I just read that the player character in Morrowind is going to wake up in prison, with...
... all of his memories gone. ;)
I wonder what name his or her cell mates choose, from a foreign tongue! :cheeky:

It seems I spend most of my time for the next " great " game to arrive. I can't wait for Morrowind to go gold. I played Daggerfall and really enjoyed it. I tried Dark age of Camelot and couldn't stand it for more than 4 months. I am trying to get into Wiz 8 now but it goes slowly. I would try to buy Underworld again ( don't know where my last copy went to) but am not sure I would enjoy replaying a 10 year old game. I hope we are getting closer to buying Arx. But I would rather wait for the game to be properly released than to be rushed out the door like so many others.

The PC in Morrowind doesn't wake up in prison. He/She wakes up on a prison/slave ship, which he/she is quickly escorted off of, into the town of Sedya Neen. I believe that, while not amnesiac, very little background for the PC is given, as the devs of the game want you to fill in the backstory of your own character, in true open-ended RPG fashion. Much like Daggerfall.

No no no.
The entire Morrowind story takes place aboard the tiny slave ship.

"The entire Morrowind story takes place aboard the tiny slave ship."
Glorofin, you forgot to put in the "SPOILER" warning again:rolleyes: . You just spoiled the fun for everyone who was planning on playing Morrowind. Morrowind being such a shortlived affair was supposed to come a surprise to people paying lots of money for it, OK so the cat's out of the bag now, big sigh. :cheeky: :cheeky: :cheeky:
