http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyrix_Cx5x86) Cyrix 5x86 (had one with the green heatsink) which was effectively a 486 with delusions of Pentium grandeur.
If you accepted that really it was a souped-up 486DX-100, then it was great. If you had pretensions it was as good as a Pentium-75, it was a thing of hate because nothing (Games) would recognise it as such and it only supported some of the instruction set.
