I live among Trump voters and there is a lot of lefty hate. It has not only been stirred by talk radio and Fox but even religious programming. They have this idea that everyone can be a millionaire if they just work hard. Those lazy democrats just want to leech off of them and stop them being rich. You can sort of forgive the young for falling for that but the old ought to know better.

That capitalist myth (fairy tale?) has been floating around for a long time though. Completely ignores the fact that people can just inherit fortunes or accumulate them through corruption. Yet I think something similar operates where poor working class people keep voting for conservatives in the UK.

Isn't it mostly the old that fall for it?

Amazingly it is. Some few pick the right business at the right time to go into and succeed to a minor degree but most live a lower middle income life which is wiped out by medical bills in their old age. They are taken advantage of by the rich at every turn and yet still worship them long past any hope of becoming them. It's perplexing. I also have a strong work ethic but without a resentment of the poor and an understanding of how difficult it is to rise above ones level. Above all I understand how the very rich rig the system and propagandize in their favor. Most where I live defend them past all reason. Facts don't seem to matter. I understand the thing the rich are best at is telling you how they deserve to be where they are but the whole these are not the droids you are looking for thing being swallowed so completely is astounding.

At last, someone thinks of the poor rich people in the US:

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-06-27/white-house-mulls-capital-gains-tax-break-that-benefits-wealthy)
The White House is developing a plan to cut taxes by indexing capital gains to inflation, according to people familiar with the matter, in a move that would largely benefit the wealthy and may be done in a way that bypasses Congress.
Consensus is growing among White House officials to advance the proposal soon, the people said, to ensure the benefit takes effect before President Donald Trump faces re-election in 2020.
[...]
Most of the benefits would go to high-income households, with the top 1% receiving 86% of the benefit, according to estimates in 2018 by the Penn Wharton Budget Model. The policy could reduce tax revenue by $102 billion over a decade, the model found.
The change in capital gains tax calculation would have little chance of passing Congress, which is why the White House is considering making the change on its own. The House would likely oppose legislation to make the change as many Democrats have raised objections to the GOP's 2017 tax cuts, saying they disproportionately helped the wealthy.
The work is largely taking place at the White House because the Treasury Department has been slow-walking the process, over concerns that the change could be challenged on legal grounds and that it might require Congress to rewrite the law, the people said.

Just imagine how they'd react if a Democratic President indexed the minimum wage to inflation without Congress passing that as a law. :D

Looks like the years of work putting together the Iran Nuclear deal are shot now. Thanks, Trump, you stupid kunt. The world is more toxic and dangerous than it needs to be.

https://www.thedailybeast.com/jeffrey-epstein-arrested-for-sex-trafficking-of-minors-source)
Billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein was arrested for allegedly sex trafficking dozens of minors in New York and Florida between 2002 and 2005, and will appear in court in New York on Monday, according to three law enforcement sources. Saturday's arrest by the FBI-NYPD Crimes Against Children Task Force comes about 12 years after the 66-year-old financier essentially got a slap on the wrist for allegedly molesting dozens of underage girls in Florida.
For more than a decade, Epstein's alleged abuse of minors has been the subject of lawsuits brought by victims, investigations by local and federal authorities, and exposés in the press. But despite the attention cast on his alleged sex crimes, the hedge-funder has managed to avoid any meaningful jail time, let alone federal charges.
The new indictment—which, according to two sources, will be unsealed Monday in Manhattan federal court—will reportedly allege that Epstein sexually exploited dozens of underage girls in a now-familiar scheme: paying them cash for "massages" and then molesting or sexually abusing them in his Upper East Side mansion or his palatial residence in Palm Beach. Epstein will be charged with one count of sex trafficking of minors and one count of conspiracy to engage in sex trafficking of minors—which could put him away for a maximum of 45 years. The case is being handled by the Public Corruption Unit of the Southern District of New York, with assistance from the district's human-trafficking officials and the FBI.
Several of the billionaire's employees and associates allegedly recruited the girls for Epstein's abuse, and some victims eventually became recruiters themselves, according to law enforcement. The girls were as young as 14, and Epstein knew they were underage, according to details of the arrest and indictment shared by two officials.
[...]
Epstein's bust comes mere months after a federal judge ruled his 2007 non-prosecution agreement—secretly inked under former U.S. Attorney and current Labor Secretary Alexander Acosta—violated federal law by keeping Epstein's victims in the dark. Under the sweetheart deal, Epstein dodged federal charges that might have sent him to prison for life. He instead pleaded guilty to minor state charges in Palm Beach, and served 13 months in a private wing of a county jail, mostly on work release.
[...]
The NPA also granted immunity to any “potential co-conspirator” of Epstein's and ensured the deal would “not be made part of any public record.”
Epstein could have faced multiple federal charges, the NPA noted, including: sex trafficking of children or by force, fraud or coercion, 18 U.S.C. 1591; the use of a facility or means of interstate commerce to entice minors into prostitution, 18 U.S.C. 2422(b); and traveling for the purpose of engaging in illicit sexual conduct with minors, 18 U.S.C. 2423(b). The document states Epstein might have committed those crimes from around 2001 to September 2007.
And if you're wondering what any of this has to do with Lord Dampnut (besides the current Labor Secretary's involvement), here's what he said about Epstein in 2002:
"I've known Jeff for fifteen years. Terrific guy. He's a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it - Jeffrey enjoys his social life."

Tocky, this one's for you:

Now that CNN and Joe Biden have said it, you now have permission to condemn ANTIFA's activities and it falls within the range of acceptable opinions for you to say things slightly negative about them.
Or does your previous logic still apply here and Joe Biden/CNN are stormfronters?
BTW I decided to do what you won't and Google "Tim Pool Stormfront".
I only got one result linking to a video where they were just using it as a newsclip. There was only one comment expressing an opinion about him:
Quote:
Sounds good but lets not forget Tim Pool is a half gook who doesnt claim to be on the right. Youtube has demonetized left wing videos before.
The enemy of your enemy is not always your friend.

No dude. The correct opinion is that rich people engage in pedophilia and sex trafficking is a bullshit conspiracy theory peddled by dog whistling Kooks like Alex Jones. Are you TRYING to get yourself exiled from white people society?
