Watch it be some 3rd option we're not even expecting. Like some extremist faction of Inuit whale hunters who are angry at the Democrats for regulating away their way of life.

In news more directly related to this thread's namesake: (
https://www.nytimes.com/2018/10/24/us/politics/trump-phone-security.html) Trump's obstinate disregard of important national security measures has predictable results.
Quote:
When President Trump calls old friends on one of his iPhones to gossip, gripe or solicit their latest take on how he is doing, American intelligence reports indicate that Chinese spies are often listening — and putting to use invaluable insights into how to best work the president and affect administration policy, current and former American officials said.
Mr. Trump's aides have repeatedly warned him that his cellphone calls are not secure, and they have told him that Russian spies are routinely eavesdropping on the calls, as well. But aides say the voluble president, who has been pressured into using his secure White House landline more often these days, has still refused to give up his iPhones.
Where is the #ButterEmails-grade outrage over this? This is arguably
worse from a national security standpoint, considering it's TRUMP we're talking about, the man with both the highest security clearance level and one of the loosest pairs of lips of any president in history.

WOW. President Trump calls for “a stop the endless hostility” from the press. A case of the kettle calling the pot black eh!

Projection (accusing those you don't like of your own faults) is the classic narcissist compulsion.
For Trump, it's become so pervasive for so long now it's almost a surprise that people are still surprised by it or just noticing it now (granting that non-Americans are exempt from that, and it's anyway understandable because there's such a flood of other garbage going on every day too). It's at the root of that meme of re-posting Trump Tweets criticizing usually Obama or Hillary of things after he's done the same thing except much worse.

You sure can call 'em, Renz.
Then again, a lot of us could too.

I have to give Duck credit for that picture. It was just too funny not to post elsewhere.

Never let facts spoil a good story.
Irony Supplement - the banner ad I got from the above link was for CRTV, the official voice duck call millionaires and Proud Boy commanders.
