The FISA court almost never rejects an application. The figure that went around the news recently was 21 rejections out of ~40000 applications. It's window dressing.
If the court was a serious body with an interest in balancing privacy rights against national security, you wouldn't have flimsy stuff like political opposition research being submitted and accepted in the first place. They probably grant warrants every day based on weaker justification than the Steele dossier.
I also don't believe that monitoring Carter Page proves there was an anti-Trump bias at the FBI. During the campaign, I don't recall any anti-Trump leaks coming out of the FBI, but there were a couple of anti-Clinton leaks.

Courts take biased information into consideration all the time. There's nothing special about opposition research that disqualifies it from being considered. And there were other things that made Page suspicious... like that speech he gave in Moscow. Not to mention the Russian spy ring stuff in 2013.
Anyway, Rachel Maddow had a field day:

Lol. They want to take credit for the prosperity of Trump's first year in office as if it weren't a continuation of the extended Obama recovery, and now that the stock market has dipped, they're blaming it on Obama.

Aww...

To all:
I have long believed that a President can fire an FBI Director for any reason, or for no reason at all. I'm not going to spend time on the decision or the way it was executed. I hope you won't either. It is done, and I will be fine, although I will miss you and the mission deeply.
I have said to you before that, in times of turbulence, the American people should see the FBI as a rock of competence, honesty, and independence. What makes leaving the FBI hard is the nature and quality of its people, who together make it that rock for America.
It is very hard to leave a group of people who are committed only to doing the right thing. My hope is that you will continue to live our values and the mission of protecting the American people and upholding the Constitution. If you do that, you too will be sad when you leave, and the American people will be safer.
Working with you has been one of the great joys of my life. Thank you for that gift.

The second special council is an official reality. I would watch this one closely. Oh, things are starting to get so good!!! :)

Really? I find it boringly predictable and a damned shame the president is trying to tear down revered institutions to salve his swollen with puss ego and that toady republicans in line to lick his balls are elbowing each other so much for the privilege.

Yes, but it brings us one step closer to the inevitable mass exposing of the evil ones. So its worth it, regardless of the monemental boner you guys have for the big baboon.

I wouldn't go accusing people of fetish-grade obsessions if I were you.
