There is no honour among thieves.

Oh wow, I wasn't aware of this contest until Athalle sent me a PM that I've won in one of the categories. Thanks to everyone, and congrats to the other authors! I'm very happy to have contributed to this community, even though it's been a while since I last released an FM... 8 years in fact :o

Welcome back Eshaktaar, I'm glad to see you here. How are you doing and what are you upto these days?
Eshaktaar on 29/6/2016 at 21:23
Thanks! While I hardly post anymore, I'm still visiting the forum from time to time. I haven't touched DromEd in years though, it's just too much of a time sink for me. But it makes me happy to see that people are still creating FMs and they're still being played :)

Eshaktaar,
I just finished going through all your missions for a second go around, within the last few days again. They still look and play great. The next time I play Broken Triad, I am gonna find that palace treasure.

COMMENTS for:
DrK:
"He made "few" maps, but all are greats."
- A Night in Rocksbourg 3 :
"The choice is real difficult, but i vote for "A Night in Rocksbourg 3: Ink & Dust", because of its ambiance and this fantastic map."
Daaran :
"Many great objects for T2 with hi-res textures. This is the most important of custom resource for me."
Dale_ :
"Fantastic first effort from Dale_ that really stood out for me. It was puzzling enough to encourage exploration and thinking, but not so cryptic that I pulled my hair out! And it looked very nice, made great use of the space used and ran well on my PC."
"Coaxing the Spirit was almost flawless, a stunning debut. It had style, atmosphere and was a pleasure to play, we look forward to further missions."
"Coaxing The Spirit was such a fantastic first mission!"
Eshaktaar :
Broken Triad :
"This is one of those FMs that loves to throw curve balls at the player repeatedly. It starts with a series of unexpected obstacles that make the initial objective much harder and more rewarding to complete, then adds in a few ominous warnings of imminent danger to keep the player on their toes. These all come together in a couple of epic (and cleverly foreshadowed) plot twists that turn the entire two-mission campaign on its head...and that's only the first mission! It takes all of the second mission (which is just as breathtaking as the first) to resolve this wild chain of events that Eshaktaar has presented to us in a way only he can."
Firemage :
"Merci pour tes travaux !"
"His objects are just brilliant, high class and genuinely look like treasure I would want to steal."
gaetane :
"Que du talent !"
Kurrhan :
"It may be noted his new project on a number of factors: beautiful textures; detailed design; interesting and intuitive gameplay; no bugs. I am sure that this author could surprise us in the future."
Lady Rowena :
"There are so many fantastic authors out there, but Lady Rowena's ability to tell engaging stories and suspenseful mysteries that keep you hooked from start to end is what made her missions utterly outstanding."
Le Corbeau :
"The last patchs brought by Le Corbeau and his team were a great revolution."
"New Dark. That's all I have to say :)"
"If Le Corbeau does not win this contest I'll open Dromed for the first time and make a mission"
Purah :
"I think others have created more elaborate and I'd say even better missions but Purah was the first in my mind to really raise the bar. After CC and CL "good enough" was no longer "good enough". Just about everything that followed was better because of him."
skacky :
"Such a tough choice, but with a 10 mission campaign in the works my vote is biased towards (high) expectations"
Sensut :
"All the finalists tell great stories with engaging gameplay. It simply came down to my enjoyment of the Bathory and Dracula campaigns, which kept me entertained for many, many hours."
Soul Tear :
"His last FM was a great work !"
Squararofl :
" Well I think Slip Tip will proly win so I go for someone else ;)"
and so sorry for delay...
