four and a half hours 4037 loot 2 secrets on Hare, that'll teach me to blithely assume I can beat a mission on the expert level :sweat:

those taffin lightbeasts damn near gave me a heart attack, reminded me of the Krell monster from "Forbidden Planet", I couldn't kill one no matter what I did and they are fast especially if you have a body to carry, wish I hadn't KO'd the entire town now it would have been interesting to watch the citizenry meet one of 'em, oh well have BJ will loot, plunder, pillage and KO entire towns so my fault :rolleyes:

excuse me but this is your first mission :eek: I most definitely am not worthy, this was damn good for a first effort :thumb: the guards had certainly had their weetabix Talanvor must have fitted them with thief detecting radar

I was a little disappointed not to find a back way in but once I led the guards into the shadows they were mine all mine :ebil:

the cage trap was a nice (well in hindsight it was nice, at the time it was a definite brown trouser moment) touch, I couldn't hear what Talanvor was saying too well so I spent the time escaping, don't suppose there's a transcript of what he said is there?

excellent mission, highly enjoyable, recommend it to everyone :thumb:

now off to play the sequel, if I don't make it remember I died thieving

Basically he tells you about the crushing wall thats going to squish the girl,and that you can't save her and get him then he leaves the key and departs.

kinda figured he'd say something like that ... looked like the gloating type to me .... wonder if he'll gloat so much when I finally catch up with him :ebil: ...please tell me I catch him eventually :angel:

oh I did find the tunnels and the little secret room in the mansion just musta missed the switch to open the secret door :nono:, still the frontal assault was very satisfying :cool:

Again thanks for an excellent and highly enjoyable mission, I think you could have a career if you keep this standard up :thumb:

I started playing maybe 2 days ago and figured now that it might be a good idea to save some of the water arrows for that mansion... LOL... the [SPOILER]invisible monsters are so cool and I love the sound effect when they stop and you can hear a heart (your own) beating. NICE!![/SPOILER]

I've been waiting to play this and finally have taken the plunge. I found the way in and have a question regarding the large bathroom. Is anything supposed to happen with the push buttons on the men's toilets? I'm not there now but curious about them.

I have only BJ'd one guard on the floor I entered onto and disabled one of the War Bots in the same general area...although now since moving down another hallway...another one came through...gah. I think I'm going to have to go back out somehow (without running into other Bot) and find armory, etc. A little confused at the moment about some of the other things to find...seems maybe I need to find a letter/key as well, etc. Playing Hard mode.

[SPOILER]Where do I find shutoff for Watcher or can you? Don't understand Ballroom, a Bot inside there was seemingly stuck inside his post, looked like he was kindof spinning but not all the way around. Perhaps when I reload, he'll act differently? My computer shutdown on me while inside there, and as I didn't have it saved at that point do I really need to go back there for some reason?[/SPOILER] That's it for now and thanks for assist. :)

The ballroom takes up a huge amount of resources, avoid the upper corners over the double doors.
There is a secrete pass. and a little loot in here.
That bot must have been stuck like they so so often get, maybe it will come out of it when you reload, but if you saved it while it was stuck then maybe not.

Some advice:
[SPOILER]I think that if you get through the mansion, then you can win the game without getting everything outside, but I would advise you to make sure that you have been all through the town first as there are clues, loot and equipment to get. If you are playing on hard then I would strongly advise it (and find that passage in the ballroom too.).
