Yes, I got the same bug with the letter-turned-key in the jail and I downloaded it this evening (Thursday night, PDT).

Query: Will this require starting over or can you still load from a saved game? I'm saved right before picking up the envelope-key in the jailj.

And, crap, the new zipfile is corrupt, so it will take a bit before I can get a proper updated version. But check the news section anyway.

Ok I am uploading the last file for a while, hopefully for good. The new file will have the letter 'a' at the end, so you will know if it is the right one the letter thingy is fixed, if you have already downloaded more than once, make sure you reload the original in darkloader between.
Sorry about the hassels. There will be no more versions after this unless I add a briefing ir something.

So unless there is some further part to the mission besides fulfilling the last objective of getting home, I guess I have to say I finished. Other than this last bug, I really enjoyed the mission! I loved the [SPOILER]invisible monstersand the gruesome scene at the bottom of the elevator shaft in that area[/SPOILER]. Really imaginative and well done! :thumb:
The only thing besides the bugs that I thought needed some further work was the outside of the mansion. I saw vast stretches with no windows at all, which seemed really strange. A little more detail on the exterior would really help, I think.
Anyway, thank you so much for the mission! I will look forward to getting the fixed version so I can finally rescue Garrett's lady-love! :)

Well sorry folks but I've asked epithumia to pull the fm off his website it should have never been released as it was, but I have been working on it and am 98% sure that it is bugless. I will repost it when I am 99.9% sure.(I don't think I will ever be 100%) Hopefully it will be back up around the first of next week (oct. 10 or 11). If you have allready downloaded it just delete it.
And so I would like to appologize for wasting everyones time.

You really should take your time building missions. ;)
I've noticed alot of things in this FM that were just not done like many lights were not attached to the walls and lots of empty rooms in the Mansion. A huge lack of AI too in the Mansion. The huge room with the big stairs was pointless to me as there was nothing in there and the stairs led nowhere. :p That room was rather empty too!
The borders of the Mansion were plain. Some trees could have made it look better and something like a Fountain and some patroling Guards wouldn't have gone amiss.
Lots of chairs were floating in the air and one of the balconies in the front of a building, had a railing missing!
It would have been nice to see some new objects in the mission. I'm sick of seeing the same old default objects now.
This is a rather big FM. It may have been better to start small and add lots of detail.
I'm telling you all this to help you make it a better mission. I do like the mission as it is but it could be a whole lot better. ;)
I guess this is more of a public Beta than a finished FM, as it is.
If you need help doing stuff, give us a shout in TEG. We're there to help you. :)

I took 17 snapshots of what could be fixed for the next release. Some may be nitpicky, but this is what I ask of my beta testers when making an FM. I'll send you a PM of the zip file containing the snapshots if you want.

btw one of the guards near the beginning must have been told the wrong version of the "birds and bees" story. :p It looks as though that guard is trying to reach a TrolPt that the first guard is standing at.
