DYALD!! DON'T TAKE IT SO HARD!!
You wanted to give everyone a fanmission as soon as possible, there's nothing wrong with that! So maybe it needed a bit more beta testing and revision. Big Deal. Now you have some really good data to do the fixing with, especially if you accept the help of folks like sluggs and john and all the other authors at TEG. Your mission will be very good. :thumb:
Just remember what I said: "If making fanmissions were easy, I would have posted my first by now." You think yours is buggy? Do ya? :laff:

 I finished Distress last night. I had no problems, except trying to get by those beasties. I really enjoyed it. Hope you have a sequel. :thumb:
Thanxs,

@ sluggs, sometimes the pressure of getting out the door gets our better judgement.
but i too felt the place was big, and not particularly believable, lots of area for improvement, which is good.

re the letter that becomes the key---Just drop the key and THEN pick up the note. The letter is just a threat from the dude who kidnapped Elayne(?).
Aside from this, I've encountered NO bugs. Fantastic town Dyald! :D
PS@Dyald- I'd just lower the water arrow amount by 5 and the fire arrow amount by 3. Leave out broad arrows at the Buy screen since there's plenty of archers to steal them from. In the fire arrow chest that's in the 'underground' area, replace the fire arrow with a frogbeast egg or 2 just for fun! (I love those things :cheeky: )

Wow...I encountered NONE of those problems listed above, Sluggs...but then again I did just enter the main building the chick's being held at...I noticed that the invisible beasties didn't put up much of a fight...One swish of my sword killed them, but I thought I was just a good sneakie...maybe not. Keep the look though, Dyald! Those things are CREEPY.

I also finished it last night and found no bugs, everything worked the way it was supposed to! I think it's a brilliant mission, lovely architecture, very gothic which appeals to me. The WoT references made it all the more interesting, at least for myself and other fantasy fans. Its hard to believe it is his first mission as it is so well thought out and expansive. I take the point about more detail in some rooms etc but it didn't detract from my enjoyment of this mission. Congratulations to Dyald, can't wait for the sequel!!!!! :thumb:

I think that's because they were unalerted to your presence and hence you got a one hit kill. I alerted a monster by accident, one swiipe of their claw/paw? and 60% of my hit points were gone. :cheeky:

Now, why is the mission not available anymore?

He has some loose ends to tie up before he releases it again.
btw I took out the alerted beasts with
one fire arrow each.
