Beat me with a stick if I'm overstepping the mark here, but I don't suppose somebody could... umm... make this mission available to myself? I'm keen to try it out, looking at the screenshots, and I'm not bothered about bugs (certainly not to the extent that I'd hold them against the author)
Pretty please?

Hey, everybody,
Sorry I,ve been gone a couple of days and haven't had a chance to check the forum. I want to thank everybody for the good criticism which has been a big help, When I uploaded the last version I was in a hurry and sent a file that had a bug in it that made the mission unwinable, and didn't have time to fix and upload a new one, the reason that the as mission was removed is basically, was upset with myself for hurring and not paying attention to what I was doing. I am using this time and doing some improvements. I think you will like them. Will upload the new file maybe tomorrow.
Have added more detail, fixed the 'magic letter'. There was a bug that made the monsters as doscile as a puppy, which are now as doscile as a hungry lion. made the difficulty levels better. Some of the changes have made the gameplay much different, so I think it would be worth replaying.
I am still at it, and I want to thank everyone for you're observations, they have been very helpfull.

Huge thanx for the heads up, Dyald. :thumb: I will certainly replay the new version when it's released.

I just uploaded Distress2_1.zip to (
http://thiefmissions.com/) Cheap Thief Mission Downloads (no link yet) Please note that the higher difficulty levels are much more challenging than before. There are a couple of areas that had my heart pounding, and I built the thing. Have fun.
P.S. I promise that this one will not be removed.

It could be a couple of days before Jason gets to it. If you want to, you can send it my way, via email, (You'll have to split it up), or Dropload.com and i'll host it for you until it's up.
[EDIT] Nevermind, it's up already! Thanx for letting us know Epithumia. :thumb: Now it's time to play the new version. YAY! [/EDIT]

Dyald's right, the guards have improved. And the beasts are a nightmare (for me at least; I like to use my sword when I'm not being a bleeding heart to humans  <---Yeah, sure). I'm still not very good at pickpocketing these ultra-sensitive people with purses (since it takes too much time to figure out and they give an effing annoying yell when they notice what I'm doing. So, I KO them and when their down, I give them two or three more whacks for good measure :sly: heh heh). So, how about you guys?
