The specs

Thief 2 1.19
Win Vista 32 bit
XFX ATI Radeon HD 4850
CCC 2008.1201.1504.27008
ATI DRIVER 8.561

(I have updated to the latest version to no avail)

AMD Athalon64 6000

I Get fog to work in Thief 2 but it just ends at certain points. I wish I could post a screenie but dam PrtscnSysRq doesn't want to work in game.
It just depends where I stand and the fog will cut out for certain areas.

This is normal. Even with NewDark there is no blending or smooth transition from fogged to unfogged areas. As for screenshots, PrtScrn should work but it will put it inside a \screenshots folder in your Thief folder.

fog is broken in that mission. (http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=131106) Tafferpatcher fixes it.

Yes I just upgraded to 1.21 and your right Taffer Patch did fix the fog.

Well yeah, if you had mentioned it was LOTP I'd have known that too. :D Glad voodoo and Tafferpatcher got it fixed for you.
