It's always Photoshop and a Wacom tablet.

Ah.. these days one can't tell what is "real" and what is digitally mastered. In any case, it's art, and it's great .

Maybe you can't. ;)
Imagine what the world would be like if redface used his powers for good instead of for awesome!

Viggo played Aragorn, whom we meet at the Prancing Pony after the Hobbits have just left the Shire. When we first see him, he is Strider the ranger, sitting and watching in a corner booth. He carries his ancestral sword, broken in battle with Sauron right before he had his finger with the One Ring cut off. He rescues the Hobbits from the Ringwraiths and they flee. We find that Aragorn is in love with the Elven King Elron's (Hugo Weaving) daughter Arwen (Liv Tyler). The Elves "heal" his sword and he is ready to reclaim his throne from the Steward of Gondor, who is only supposed to be taking care of the kingdom until the return of the King.

OHHHHH... that's Viggo. I remember him. He's the guy with the black long hair in the film. Didn't know the actor's real name. Thanks for the explanation. The photo in this thread doesn't make me think of the same guy from lord of the rings. I actually had to go look it up on IMDB and then it hit me.
edit: apparently I missed the Viggo image from page 1.
