This is frustrating.
1 - When I used the right coat hanger and pressed down the pressure plate in the room, nothing happened. No door opened... nothing.
2 - The objective didn't tick off when I went in the control room and deactivated the cameras.
3 - I used the book-switch in the bookcase under the ledge in the library's first room, but nothing happened.
1: Put a body on it and run to the mechanist watcher you go past before that room. I still havent figured out what the coat hanger itself does though.
2: Unsure about that.
3: There are two books, only one needs to be frobbed. My guess is you've pressed the on the right. Jump a little higher and a little to the left of that one towards the corner.
I'm very sorry to say it, but I gave it up, to finish this missions. :( It's incredible hard, even on sissy, and now, after Constantine is finally dead (it took me 1 hour!) the objecitve to kill him doesn't get checked of and I'm not able to go on. I think this happend, because the last bit, that finished him, was his own doing (nice revenge after I hurt myself with the nitro), so I didn't kill him. And my nerves are still trembling, so I won't replay this fight.
But thank you for this misssions, GORT, there're many interesting ideas and stuff to explore:)
The right coat hanger should drop a speed potion. It may end up inside your buggy buddy if you've dispatched him inside the closet.
damn, this is a tough one... though the music puzzle was genius :)
some really obscure placements for things (KEY HUNT!), and a lot of lag at points, but like the first two in the series it is a beautiful and well-made mission.
I have some remaining questions:
how do I get into the top room of the Hammers' East guard tower?
what does the button under the hammer relief (just through the main entrance) do?
how do I get into the Hammers' security building in the SW corner of the compound?
thanks!
EDIT: found (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1432571#post1432571) coreyb2's helpful button guide, which answered all three of my questions (and probably more I would have had)

well this is lame... I'm the only person on here today?
well, I'm not stuck in mission 5 - mission 5: HOLY $#!+ and how about that ending to mission 4? creepy!
so I'm now in the building full of bedrooms (and drunk people, and mechanists, and bugbeasts?... and crab people? wah?...) having a lot of trouble finding my way. However, I'm having no trouble getting killed; it's gotta be once a minute around here... can anyone offer advice on how the hell to get around here?
grah, GORT, you're missions are the most frustrating EVAR! You'll regret this, you taffer!

Just go down the stairs through the window and then it's just a key hunt. The only one I couldn't find was the key on the
wardrobe in the craymen room.
yeah, thats about as far as i got... then back up to the Mechanist floor, through the golden door (death) and what looks like a giant floating Constantine head?!
dlw6 on 12/4/2006 at 01:33
I don't remember a giant floating head...is it on top of a building after crossing some other buildings? Maybe there is a texture mixed up somewhere and what you're seeing is your final objective...try jumping into it.
