There is definitely a key to the art gallery. As Ronnie said, it's related to that pagan child. You have to find the key in one of the vases upstairs first. Smash the vase with your blackjack or sword.

You can open the lock between the two doubledoors near that room with the table and the vases, as well as the locked double doors in the hallway near the backdoor to the garden. Behind that latter door there is the pagan child captured in metal. Use fire arrows to free her and the art gallery key. The door into which the guard is running is the door to/from the art gallery.

I thought of something else...How do you get into the tower at the top of the ladder in the hammer church...I managed to end the mission, and steal the hammer and the mace, but never found the tunnel or opened the tower at the top of the ladder.....I waited till, i had everything else done, then....i just took the hammer, headed for the front door, but before i left the room with the hammer, i stopped and flashbombed all the hammers, while they recovered i headed one of the towers, waited for things to settle down.....then used invisiblty potion, at the front door and open gate, then used speed potion, ran to mech. area....mission over...

Ok, i did a google and found out what [SPOILER]ambo is[/SPOILER] Went back to a save before i stole the hammer.... and managed to open door, but I thought this would get me to security room to shut off alarm, but all i found was 2 gold nuggets, 1 silver and 5 hammers, one with key.....still wondering about alarm and getting into the one tower with the locked hatch....

[spoiler]That's all part of a button run. It starts near the main entrance below one of those metal panels on the wall and continues all over the place. There is a complete sequence guide somewhere in this thread.[/spoiler]

I'm ready to move on to mission 2, except I am 1431 short on the total loot, and only have 10 of 11 secrets. Somehow I figure the two must be related. Can anyone help?

Did you find the haunted area with christine? Did you already fight her husband and used his object?

Yes, I have accomplished both.

I also have discovered both of the hidden rooms in the upstairs west wing. One is accessed by weighting down the pillar in the room with the bugbeast, the other by shooting a fire arrow into the wall.

Anything else come to mind that I may have missed?

I don't remember any more loot on big piles. If it's not this one you probably have to search for scattered loot all over the place. Look behind pipes, brooms, boxes, below benches, on rugs, pillars, in the pool etc. Look especialy in all unusual places -- GORT seems to have a preference for them:sly:[/spoiler]

Yep, I cleared out the Gambling room. I checked it again looking for any that I may have missed on the rugs, but didn't notice any.

I've also cleared out the fountain & the swimming pool, so I guess it's as you've suggested, time to go through and check behind everything.
