I'm in the area where there were two fire elementals. I have found a pedestal with a fire. There are two stone "doors" I can't go through yet burricks go through as if it wasn't there. What do I have to do??
DarkElf_Mairead on 25/4/2006 at 14:09
You have to put out the pedistal with water, I don't know how to help you if it doesn't work :( Try jumping on top and then shooting, if you have enough hp. Then light the torch behind the first stone door and hurry through the second.

@The Phantom:
Try to use a native zip program like (
http://www.winzip.com) WinZip to check if something is wrong with the mission file(s). But I rather assume you break your installation of darkloader. If a reinstall didn't help, maybe there are some leftover broken entries in the registry. Though I don't know if darkloader is using the registry at all. Maybe someone else?
Thanks for the help SinisterShadow, problem (

How do I turn off the security cameras.
I went into the library and found the note about using the formula to get the code
, then I went into t
he room by the library to get the control room key.
. I entered the control room on the second floor. At first I thought
the code on the note from the library was the actual code but upon more careful reading realized it was only an example.
Later I found
the real code in the room near the guards' training room.
. Later I went back to the control room and punched in the code
0515
at which point a small door in the wall opened up. However, unless I'm blind, there does not seem to be anything in the wall to use, no switches, no locks, etc. I did press the red button, but all that did was set of the alarm. Is there anything else I need to do.
Thanks in advance.

There should be two switches in there. Can you turn up the gamma and show us a screen capture?

There does appear to be two switches in there. However, they don't seem to "highlight" indicating a useable object. Even right clicking my mouse just for the sake of it doesn't do anything.
Unfortunately this forum doesn't allow for the direct posting of images and I don't belong to any image hosting sites from where I can post an screenshot.

did you try leaning forward? On my computer it's alt-w, but I might have changed it to that. On a side note, I have the same trouble with some holy water in the
Hammerite Temple locker room.
The switches are there, just hard to see. You will need to lean forward in order to activate them.

You mean the "Look for some information with in this strange city." objective, right?
In the hotel, there is a guy who has a conversation with a guard. Overhear the conv. and the objective should be checked.
So I just now read this. I knocked out those guys
before listening
. I don't have a problem using ctr-alt-shift-end when I'm done with everything else. Can someone tell me what they
said in case I need to know something?
