Well, I've checked it out on easy mode, but didn't find any errors like that. Make sure you pull them once on each wing. The wings worked fine and the secret bookshelf door opened. If you still can't get it to work, then you might have a corrupt save file.

I sorry but i do not know what is wrong with my game all i can think of is that i am missing something to trigger the event might be missing a note or something. Can you please send a saved game file right after the room of angels before going into the opened bookshelf. I have version 1.07. I also installed it at a different location and patched it to 118. Maybe having 2 difference version installed could be causing problems
send to audjack22@optusnet.com.au
Thanks

I've edited this post down a lot. I was having issues with crashes about 1/3rd the way into Mission one. I have now backtracked waaaay back to almost the beginning and no crashes so far. After doing some searching all over this forum and site, I found some people have had issues with bad/corrupted saves. Mine was really weird since I was picking a save about 45 minutes into the same (at my semi-slow speed) and it would not crash for another 20 minutes. I went back to about 30 minutes into the game (I was in the library for the first time at this point) and I'm good to go.

Hmmm... What are your computer's specs, bjack? Maybe we can figure out the problem.
Also when exactly did the crashes first happen?

Update -
I think I'm OK now. I picked a super early save and it has not crahsed yet. I am now stuck near the end of mission 1. I have all objectives completed, but I cannot get a few doors open. I'm missing one or more keys, or maybe those locked doors aren't supposed to open. At least I am past the crashy part. It must have been a bad save that would not manifest itself until 20 minutes further into the game. Weird :) I'll go it at it some more without asking for clues.
-- the old part of the post below...
AMD X64 3500 single core, 2 GB DDR 3200 RAM, NVidia 7600GT 256MB vid RAM. Win XP SP3, McAfee anti-virus. Nothing else runnng and fresh reboot.
The first crashes started just after
I used the training room to kill off guards, or make them fight. I had triggered the battle bot in the upstairs neear the dead elevator. I lured it down the hall with a door open so it would go into the training area, instead of after me. 2 other guards follwed the bot into battle. I then when around to the secret with the speed potion and lured the greem mantis out and back to the training area. I went to go get the speed potion and when I tried to pick it up - crash. I back tracked back to just after the bot was destroyed by the trainees and started over. No matter what I do, it crahses in random places.

Ok, here I go again editing my posts for content :laff:
I've now completed all missions and thought it was pretty fun overall. I do not like the extreme speed AI, all of those marble floors, and torches everywhere with few or no water arrows though. Still I played on, so I must have enjoyed it :D
This set took me a long time to complete (over 12 hours :tsktsk: ), being about as difficult as they come, while still being playable. Nice set. Thanks Gort.

Okay, I'm struggling to finish this campaign without knocking anyone out and doing as little damage as possible. I got stuck in mission 3 though, in Hammer church.
I'd like to grab the big hammer, but:
- Turning off the security seems impossible. There's no way to sneak in and out to hit the buttons near the stained glass (or whatever it is, can't recall atm xd); running for the security room door with a bunch of angry fanatics behind won't work either, as there's not enough space around the control room, one will inevitably get stuck and smashed to death;
- Taking the hammer in a regular way sets off the alarm. Now that wouldn't be a problem if it went down in a while, but it won't - the Hammers stay in hunting mode forever, so even hiding inside the cave doesn't help. What I did instead is ran around a bit until I managed to gather the Hammerites below guard posts, which looks like this:

Hmmm... I wonder if anybody was able to disarm the alarm system on that treasured hammer. There are a series of buttons to press and you'll need to be quick. There's a book titled "Worthiness of the Golden Hammer" that gives you a clue to where all of the buttons are located. By shutting off the security system you'll won't have to deal with that many Hammerites. I'll post the order by pics.

The correct order has been posted on page 7 (while this is page 24 for me, in case some1 has different posts-per-page setup). Well, at least I think it is correct - never had the chance of reaching the security door, as a bunch of angry Hammers successfully block my way once I'm outside on the final run.

Aha, another post

Before doing this, make sure the Hammerites are not in your way.
Which is the problem, cuz there's no way I can draw so many Hammerites off their partol routes for so long, and blackjack is prohibited xd I can make it till the 4th button without alerting anyone, but that's it.
*/
Anyway, I somehow managed to flarejump down from the balcony without hurting myself (took me several attempts though ;x). The rest is easy: like every Hammer is inside under guard posts, so it takes a while before any of them can see me again; even if I'm being chased by a few, I can run to the bar and jump onto the counter - makes me stand on solid ground and not reachable by Hammers, so they run back to the church for help and get stuck on the already closed gate. Now there's a chance to get out from the bar and hide in the shadows, or just go straight to the Mech church.
Still, any other creative ideas for dealing with the situation are welcome :) Just a reminder: No kills, no KOing, preferably no damage.
So I'm at Mechs' now - lack of shadows is indeed troublesome at times :p The difficulty and thus challenge provided is astounding. I'm loving this campaign so far.
