It can be really freaky with all the zombies walking about.
Fortunately you'll have enough supplies to kill most of them even on expert.

There were a lot of whoa moments in Thief 1&2, but here are the best ones:
Thief 1:
*The amazingly big tree in the maw of chaos, climbing in it to the next level was also a lot of fun. It was also pretty helpful, I shot a rope arrow in it to hide from the spiders and ape-men.
*And of course the first encounter with the hammer haunts, that was a whoa moment as the haunts followed me with a devilish laughter.:ebil:
Thief 2:
* The eye plants were pretty scary, definitely a whoa moment!
Thief DS:
* The Stone golems were pretty ''Whoa'' when they were following me saying ''AND CRUSH AND CRUSH!!''.:cheeky:

Opening the door to RTC. I peeked in, saw everything, closed the door and crtl-alt-ended my way outta there!

I assume he's talking about the Return To The Cathedral.
I did it the Indiana Jones way.

Yeah, I meant Cathedral, sorry for the confusion.
Took me 5 years to bother to get over my fear of the undead. The way I did it was to lure a zombie to a table or something where he couldn't reach me, then just stare at him to get all the jeebies out of my system.

Everytime I get it into my mind to dump off two unconscious guys on one bed. Quickly followed by immature giggles that can last for minutes.
Of course, the Cradle.
The whole visiting the City between levels thing. I loved it.
Now that I think of it, the mission in Constantine's Mansion. That was amazing. Just the sights were so much fun to look at.

Personally, I liked Cragscleft much more than the Bonehoard. Maybe it was the fun of luring both Hammers and Zombies into the pool, and watching them drown. :cheeky: RTC and the Mage Guild both had really cool architecture and were fun to play (well, after I got over being scared to death in RTC).
Life of the Party. No comparison, it's just freaking awesome. The mission to sneak onto the Cetus Amicus was fun too, but maybe I just liked the pulpy-seemingness of the mission to explore the giant underground base with a steampunk submarine.
The Shalebridge Cradle ... this one mission had me more scared than playing through the entirety of Silent Hill. Even on my fourth time through the game, that mission scares the pants off me. I like the Kurshok mission as well; something about going through the underground cities that's enjoyable. Plus getting the crown by jumping over onto the chandelier.

Cragscleft.
Spooky abandoned mines. Rotting corpse lying around. Step over it. Ohshi- whoa!
Lost City.
Jump over lava pit, continue till the end. Trace back. Jump over same pit, in opposite direction. Whoa. Reload, try again. Whoa. Reload, try again. Whoa. Reload last save before the first over-pit-jump, activate drawbridge, repeat everything from there again. :grr:
Some TDS mission, don't remember which.
Pagan section of the city. Big hole in the ground, very dark. Jump in. Splash urrgh thunk. Whoa.
