I agree with the memeber said"You're an expert, of course, and you know the risks involved in anaesthetising someone with a dangerously high tachycardia.",So I think it is nomal.

"Evaeva"?
You could say it's... Eva 02

Eva02 Reloaded?
Edit:
The hospital just put my brother in ICU as his vital signs were dropping due to his going into a severe state of alcohol/drug detox. If it's not one thing, it's another. Snowbound today and rather glad of it since Dirk's being kept heavily sedated and we can only visit in 10 minute shifts; not that he even knows where he is, let alone who's visiting. Still no word on whether or not the 'masses' are malignant or not.
I think I'll fire up FO3 & go kill some mutants.

I feel for you, Dia.
I never handle the suffering of people I care about well, so never know what to do or say, except to just be a good & caring family member...
And wow what a hideous bot.

That's terrible about your brother, Dia. I hope you're not being hard on yourself or getting too depressed by it because I honestly don't know what one could do in your situation to make things better. Just stay strong.

Hint: it's death by anaesthetic.
Yes, I know. I think you missed my point: perhaps he is so miserable that does not want to live. (It certainly would explain the tube-ripping.) I know I would want to be dead if I were in that condition. I live with a painful & debilitating medical problem, and am unable to enjoy life. And mine isn't nearly as bad as his. I would want to be anesthetized, in that condition, even if there were a significant risk of death. It would be an acceptable risk, even if I didn't want to die.
What kind of monsters are people, that they would rather have him struggle in pain, than be free from it? You think that forcing him to linger in misery is helping him? I don't understand you. I can't figure out if people act this way out of ignorance, or out of cruelty. It looks so much like the latter, but I can't rule out the possibility (and hope?) that it's the former. (Not much of a hope, though; even if true, it doesn't make all that much of a difference.)
May you find peace, one way or another, as soon as possible, Mr. Dirk. [touches forehead]
I am sorry, Dia.

Dia, my thoughts and yes prayers are with you and your brother right now. Its the waiting that sucks. I hope there is peace coming to him soon, whatever the outcome. :(

If he doesn't want any interventions he needs to say so. Everyone will respect his wishes. As to significant risk of anaesthesia - you also have to consider that the person administering perhaps doesn't want to be responsible for someone else's death.
