I noticed the fake crown and heart in the shop in old town... and I'm about to tackle the museum. I don't remember buying them the first time I played this game (I think I went straight from the lair to the museum last time).
I'd like to know if I should spend the money and buy the fakes or just say screw it and fill up on all the stuff I used in the lair.

The fakes are only useful if you're ghosting (the guards will be alerted if they notice the artifacts missing). If you plan to just blackjack everyone, you won't need them.
