Chalk up another victim to the Nuth slaughter. Really enjoyed the game - will have to spend a lot more time planning my moves next time, I think.

That wasn't a typical game for me. My games usually involve slow maneuvering to try to shut down my opponents' threats, but in that one, I was constantly watching out for an opportunity to take advantage of pins along the E file. Paid off with some crushing tactics at the end. I enjoyed the game a lot because I really need to try harder to get out of my usual cautious, slow, grinding style of play.

I had what I thought was a pretty cool tactic to finish off my last bout with SubjEff, uh, what would you call it? Covered skewer-discovered-check attack on the Queen to force a B-Q tradeoff & check? (He was playing well too; that tactic just opened up by circumstance.) But then I saw you force that knight fork near the end of your bout, and that was a thing of beauty and totally took the wind out of my sails. Now I feel like my prize fight analogy wasn't too far off. With these tactical fireworks, can't you feel the anticipation building? :D

I think that's probably classified as a pin since the piece can't move out of the way(or maybe a skewer since the king behind it is being attacked). Whatever it is, it's nasty. Nice work.
I'm sure looking forward to our game. :D Nervous though because I suspect I'm in for a tough match. Who's left before you get to me?

I like the sound of a pin-skewer. I haven't played faetal if he wants a bout, so we've each played everybody else before a matchup. He was backlogged before so it's his call. I'm leaving the country next Tuesday though too and have to pack & do stuff here before I go so will probably be offline next Mon - Thurs at the least until I'm (hopefully) settled again in my new home, so it's a bit busy time, but not too bad.

If faetal wants a shot at you first, that's cool. Later, sooner, whenever is okay with me. I'm at your convenience.:)

Gaaah. Just shows that you have to focus all the time. I had a look over the last few moves - easily avoidable and I was coming for you.

I have three games on at the moment, one of which is a slow one and one of which is nearly over, so I'll start one with Dema now. I also currently have TWO match requests from SubjEff, so I'm guessing you're keen for a rematch, so after Dema, I'll play one of those - I'm guessing the one with a 24 hour time limit would be preferable to you?
[EDIT] Make that THREE game requests from SubjEff. I get the hint.
SubJeff on 28/6/2013 at 12:01
Ah, that's just because I couldn't see that the request had gone through on the mobile app.
