I do get the "Join Tournament"-button. But when I try to register, it says: "This tournament is an Invite Only tournament. You must be invited by the tournament director in order to register!".
So I guess you'll have to now invite all participants individually.
I also see "max group size" set to 2. Wouldn't that be a problem ?

Right, all invited now.
Group size refers to qualifying matches, so each group of 2 will send 1 winner forward into the next round. There can be up to 20 players in total, so 10 groups. You can for example, if you have 12 players, have 3 groups of 4 with the top 2 in each group going forward after each heat.
I think the problem last time is as Hopper said - I changed the group size to 2 and didn't notice that the max players then defaulted to 4.
[EDIT] Just checked and indeed, the Clash of the Titans tournament is correctly showing 1/20 players registered. I'm hoping we get at least 8 people involved :)

It won't let me join the second tournament because it has me playing Subjeff in the first tournament. Can't play in more than one tournament at a time as a basic member apparently. I'll offer a draw if it will let me then try joining the Clash of the Titans.
Edit: I'll just withdraw from the first tournament. Enjoy the free rating points, Subjeff.:cheeky:

I need not the charity of the soon to vanquished.
I resign.
Edit: your treachery will be repaid thrice in full again!

Cool, we have 5 players on now. Hopefully a few more will join up :)

Not sure if the chess.com software allows it. But we could always do a round-robin, in stead of a knockout tournament. But I agree, it would be fun if everybody would join.

The options they give you I've listed above. You can presumably just have one large group of e.g. 12 players and the top 11 go through to the next round.

Christ on a stick, that interface sucks. I couldn't join the new tournament since I am still apparently participating in the first one, although I gave up against SE. But now I can't even find my inbox where the invitation to the new tournament was!
(Edit) I found my inbox by going via the sitemap, but I still can't register
(Edit edit) I found out how to withdraw from the 1st tournament so I could join the new one. Now we all just need to register a couple of sockpuppet accounts each so we can get together 20 participants :cheeky:
