I've been given a phone for work and been tasked with mucking around with it to get familiar with how various apps do things and I figured I'd give the chess.com app a go too. So I've signed up as SirOsisOfThuliver and put in a request for the TTLG group.
Right, now when it comes to chess, I only know how each piece can move, can barely think 3 moves ahead and all the talk of forking earlier in the thread had me thoroughly confused. So be gentle. Or not. I'm good either way. :thumb:

First of all, you had to wait for me to make the first move. Secondly, we're currently up to 10 moves because you knew exactly how I was going to play and pre-programmed all your next moves accordingly (which does not at all bode well for the rest of the game :sweat:).
And last but not least, I'll be on an outing trip this weekend (to London, to be precise), and my time / access to internet will be quite sparse. So do not expect any major development over the weekend.

Angel Dust - if you want to ease in slowly, I recommend starting a game with your friendly neighbourhood faetal, since I'm about the lowest scored member of the TTLG group.

Yep, I used the "conditional moves" feature. I tried it a few times against Mopgoblin before. But he never made a single move I predicted. :) The line we are playing now is all theory. And very logical moves. The last conditional move that I entered was 10. .., Rc8. Exactly as far as you have played today. I think the mainline in the theory has come to an end here. And the real battle now starts.

Can you enlighten me what "nu" means in "NuEffect" ? Googling gives a number of things it could mean. My non-english-speaking head can not find an obvious meaning in this context. New Effect ? You reborn ? Seen the light ? :)
