I also remember an American medical game called Emergency Room, where you would treat patients and move them through exam, lab, and treatment rooms. Enjoyed it quite a bit when I was younger.

Hard is an understatement. My main memory of that game is being about 12 and trying to play without the manual. I did not realize that you had to manually apply anesthetic.
Did not expect the scream when I cut in, that's for sure.
