Not quotes, but... I have a tendency to turn to Paganspeak... Anyone here ever found him/herself saying "Tricksy assigment" in class, when being overloaded with homework, and have most of the class look funny at you? No? Guess it's just me.

Not quite, but different reference. My little sister talks like Golem/Smeagal from LOTR sometimes, and people look at her funny too.

I've got a 20 YO friend who's a LoTR nut and does the same thing... Right down to cuddling a petry dish in Adv. Biochem and hissing "My Precioussss"... (I know, I keep weird friends. Sane people are boring.)

Lol, I have a saying like that that I use all the time. "Normal is boring. Strange is interesting."

pagan or hammerite speech is the most fun.
I've done "My hammer will smite thee!" while playing croquet with my kids. (they of course get the reference - accent is everything here.)
and " sneaksy creature, I'll hurt you not" when my cat attempts a silent infiltration of the bedroom and has to open the door..
otherwise an occasion "what the..??" for startling situations is it.

I like to say 'hell's bells' when something startles me. :cheeky:

What? Does no one even use variations of Taffer in real life?
I called someone a taffer at a set of lights after he cut me up, I roared away from the lights laughing my head off as he stalled the engine while trying to figure out how Id insulted him...
ROTL...

I, naturally start all my conversations with "Be greatful that I speak with thee at all, unbeliever..."

When I have a head cold I like to occasionally express myself by lumbering around and groan and gurgle - mimicking the exact sounds of the basic T2 zombie. For some reason it actually makes me feel better.

Lol takes your mind off the cold :)
