None of the more erudite conversation here necessarily hinges on Poetic Thief's post, and could just have easily cropped up in a better thread. That said, I don't actually advocate shutting down dumbass threads like this because they do on occasion foster good discussions, but god knows there's a few people who need their kidneys punched. TL;DR: people with stupid opinions are useful but that doesn't mean we shouldn't shove them into the street when they no longer serve their purpouse.

Koki. I can point to, well, Poetic Thief, BRnumbers, 242 (though I think he's starting to get it) as perfect examples, BRnumbers being the ultimate one (and thankfully gone.) In all honesty I could point to a good portion of the Thief fandom as my evidence.
