I disagree with ZylonBane, catbarf, but that really was a most pathetic strawman.
I have to ask you Zylon, what is wrong with someone just not liking games like PacMan or Tetris? It's not that they are "gamey", but they are most certainly abstract. If someone likes the immediacy and "realism" of certain types of FPS over more abstract games who are you to tell them they are wrong? That's like saying "You don't really like blue cheese?? YOU ARE WRONG!!".

Those were just examples. Based on Poetic's statements, one wonders how he would engage in play if he lived in a time when computer games weren't available. Presumably he dislikes all board and card games, as well as all games of physical skill.

This may be true. It may also only be true of computer games and he may have come to this conclusion after getting burnt out on abstract games. Either way, so what? I don't agree with him fully but I see where he is coming from for reasons I've stated already.
