Anyone got a Thief 1/Gold FM with a classic Thief vibe to recommend? - by Ryan Smith

I've been looking through the fan missions to see if there are any old-school, classic Thief 1 levels. I love walking down a familiar atmosphere, but with a different story and plot. I had just finished Captain of the Guard (Awesome if you're into AI combat or mass combat), and I'm feeling like playing an old-fashioned Thief level.
Anyone got ideas?

Anything by skacky will give you that T1 vibe for sure, and all his missions are also excellent.

Augustine's Revenge by BBB
Bad Debts and Disorientation by Melan are for T2, but they have a T1 vibe. At least to me.

What others have said, and also the Gems of Provenance campaign, which is completely old school and authentic.
If you are up for a challenge, Shadows of Doubt.

Thanks everyone for the recommendations. I've been playing T2 for years, but just got TG last year. I've played a few T1/TG FMs too, but was not sure of what to get next. These are good suggestions. Again, thanks. :)

I agree to all missions listed and will add a few of my own favorites, mostly city mission (my favorite type and which I connect with Thief the most):
First of all I don't understand that nobody mentioned the Purah/Team Calendra missions "Autumn in Lampfire Hills" (1999) and the massive "Calendra's Cistern" (2000), yet.
Purah was one of the first who went really big and his "Team Calendra" later made the ground breaking "Calendra's Legacy" which you surely have already played...
AntiMatter_16 updated these missions to Thief 2 ("AiLH" in 2014) and New Dark ("CC" in 2015) but I haven't played those versions, yet.
Even older is "The Shadow of Lord Rothchest" (1999) which is at least interesting and already shows some promise (intricate level structures, secrets).
Definitely also "Lorgan's Web" if you want the classic T1-style. It uses the original T1-mission "Assassin" as the base and expands it quite heavily.
Also "The Secret Way" if you want to visit a cloister for a change...
If you want a nice tomb mission like The Bone Hoard look no further than "Sepulchre of the Sinistral" from 2006, which is one of the best ever made.
But *only* play it in the dark!
I second the comment about Skacky's missione - they all are excellent:
- "Shadow Politics" from 2012
- "Between these Walls", also 2012, which does requires New Dark, though
- "Endless Rain" for Thief Gold, practically still warm (2013)
For Thief Gold also:
- "Seeds of Doubt", an old but very well-made mission from 2000, not to be confused with "Shadows of Doubt"
- "Lighthouse Shed" by Dront, fairly recent (2010)
Various older missions:
- "Cult of the Resurrection" by Sledge
- "The Saint of Redmound" by Morrgan
- "Geller's Pride"
- "Hush...Hush, Sweet Harlot"
- "Hammerhead: Return To The Docks"
- "The BurgoMaster"
and "Ramirez's Revenge" - the re-release from 1999
I also agree with the Melan-comment - highly recommended city missions!
The only one for Thief 1 is AFAIK "Prowler of the Dark", which sadly is a bit short.
