Sorry if this thread has been brought up before, but the movie was just released and since I've seen it, I noticed some minor resemblances to that of the Shalebridge Cradle. It makes me wonder if there was any inspiration from Thief in this movie?
I am probably just being skeptical, but it's worth a go!

It is actually quite confusing at times, but overall a decent film that makes your brain work at certain points in order to make sense of what you are actually witnessing! The storyline does not correlate with Thief at all, however, some of the stage presence and linguistics/scenery seem to me as being completely derivative of the Cradle.
