wow, after reading your post eva I can't understand how the XBOX-version did get any good rates ......this is exponentialy more worse than PC
I mean, the combat on PC is already a clunky hybrid of pause-play, non-working cover system and questionable AI pathfinding. And no, the story doesn't pick up in the later stages, on the contrary, it gets more ridiculous with dozens of sidemissions vying for your attention while the whole galaxy is dying, waiting for Shepard to save a few computer-generated kittens first. for me it was a interactive story bogged down by combat, not the other way around. I like the DragonAge combat, this is one way Bioware is capable of , but all attempts of Bioware at realtime combat fail miserably.
------------
good enough SciFi though. I'm a SciFi fan so I look over those shortcoming much more than in other genres, but there's still hope for ME2. the combat looks exponentially better.

Buy Torchlight off Steam. Every other distribution has limited online activations.
Note that if you've bought it directly from Runic Games, they're more than happy to reset your activation count, should you need it. Also, you start with 10 activations.

they did reset the activations after the last patch for example. but I still do not support it ;)

The likes of Steam (Valve) or Gamersgate (Paradox) have a far less likelihood of going bust overnight than a tiny indie studio like say Runic -bye bye activation resets. My own concerns come far ahead than thoughts of which avenue will provide the developer with a bigger slice of the profit.

I paid for it, and as brilliant as it is, I honestly have so many other games to play that I haven't the time, so I'd be more than happy to give it to a TTLG bloke instead. Anyone want it? I'm also all up for trades! Can you give up a game you've bought, btw? I got L4D2 and it isn't doing a thing for me, wish I could gift it to someone else. Don't even care about a refund really, but it would be nice just to give it to someone who might actually enjoy it.
Also, is Mass Effect worth playing on the PC? My PC can now run it and spit it out for breakfast, but are the controls any better or worse? etc?
And would you motherfuckers add me?
My steam nick is Ziaeon... account name is EternalZion
Can you gift L4D2 if you bought only 1 copy? Probably not which is too bad. Or otherwise I'd trade you something for it.
What else have you got for trade?

Not sure Jashin I'll have to look, but I'm glad my little Steam community is growing. Maybe some of you playing MW2? :)
