Anyway to slow Thief Gold down other than Turbo?

Thanks for the advice Vigil, I assumed that the desktop refresh rate was not what you were referring to and I am glad I can set it back so I don’t have to put up with the eye strain.

Thanks for the link to ATI tray tools Fig. I’ve installed it and gotten most of it figured out but I’ll need to study the program a little more to get the finer points.

Thief is running as it should now, thanks again to everyone that took the time to help me out.

should be noted that using 60hz is severely headache inducing
any other way around this?

yeah.try the directx overlay trick,see the (http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=60930#toofast) shock2 FAQ.this fix works for thief as well,but it didnt quite make it to the thief FAQ,dunno why..

well, that should definately be put there then
sounds like an easy fix, too
one could even make a launcher for it easily
