I think they are trying to make a MMO GTA type of game.
Therefore probably no boring grindings, pointing to an enemy and clicking a skill button...
If it´s just like a massive GTA4 online then it may rock.

Character customization looks cool. Seems like a more evolved system than what we expected from AoC. Then again, while AoC's is a very good system in its own right, it's not all it was cracked up to be either, so I wouldn't be surprised if APB's fell short of fanbase expectations, too.

I wouldn't get my hopes up. Looks like a very common promise from new MMO's, and if my memory serves me well, it's one that none of them has delivered on yet.

FYI, beta keys are available (
http://www.fileplay.net/keys) from here. The client is 7.1GB, so it will probably take a while to download for many.

This game looks good and it also looks good. If I could get a beta key I'd definitely give it a whirl.

Oh nice one! There are still beta keys there as I type so if you read this soon after I post and want one go now now now.
The concept is such a good one (cops and robbers) that if the gameplay works this might be another potential MMOG that I could get into, just like EVE, CoH and WAR were. Of course I say this and at present I play no MMOGs (though I've tried the trails of EVE, CoH and WoW).
