Have any of you ever played the ghost's wierd speech (at least from T2) backwards? Most isn't anything, but one is familiar. Try playing Appa0___5 backwards, maybe slow it abit. It's Viktoria from the first game, when she talks about Bow to the Woodsie Lord ect.

What are apparations? Sort of... ghostly surgical procedures? If so, then I like the idea. They wouldn't need any instruments, they could just sort of reach inside and do the necessary. I can see it now. You, madam, are a genius.
Regarding your main point, I can't remember what it was.

it got unfunny after the first 1/4 of the joke...
thats really interesting though, kinda creepy actually. I would listen to it but I can't be bothered right now. Is there any way I could get a recording? Thx
Tim

Thanks man, that is really friggin cool, not only did they play it backwards and speed it up ALOT but they also apparently variably altered the volume

To apparate is to disappear in one location and then reappear somewhere else. Apparation is pretty much the same thing as teleportation, except nobody uses the word much anymore. There's a fair amount of apparations in addition to the apparitions in the original missions.

All I know is the folder the sound files were in was called Appar, I assumed it meant apparation, which I thought was like a ghost or something.
Yeah they really screwed with the sound file to get that :)

You have the right idea, just a small misspelling. Gestalt had it right... apparition vs. apparation.

Oooh I see. I didn't look very closely at the words, thanks :)
