So I bought this game having heard good things, was emailed a download link and waited while I was moving house as I had no internet. 3 weeks later, I try to download and am told that the link has expired, so I find the original mail and am told that I can email admin@bit-blot.com to get a new download link. Tried this three times now and no repsonse, not even a reply saying they are dealing with it.
Any suggestions what to do? I either want to play this game or get my money back. If they don't get back to me, I'm tempted to find a torrent.

How long have you been waiting? Keep in mind that Aquaria was made by two guys, only one of which handles support emails, so they might take a few days to get back to you. Alternately, try popping over to their forums and post on there.
If you have a registration code for it, I think there's even download links to the current version of the game on their forum that just needs registering.

I've been waiting 12 days. They really ought to set up an auto-response detailing their expected turnaround time, at the very least to let me know that the email has landed in the right place.
I'm all for supporting indie devs, but I'm not big into giving them money for nothing in return.

Thank you very much!
Will give it a try when I get home.

Don't think it has any DRM or whatever anyway, so if anyone's got an installer they could just send it to you.
If, you know, you're not running some clever piracy scam. :D

Ah, Aquaria, the deep sea cooking simulator.
Actually it's pretty good. But it's not quite great. Seems to be missing something, but I could never figure out what exactly.

More jellyfish!
It totally didn't have enough of those.
(actually did anyone else feel bad when shots fired at actual threats wandered off and annihilated innocent shoals of fish?)

I felt bad when I spent a half-hour gathering the ingredients for some ultimate invulnerability taco, only to discover when used that it only lasts about ten seconds.

A sequel, that's what.
