Ha!
I knew you was a freak, Dia.
:ebil:
Call me... :p

Dia, I don't think this guy is your "special someone", I wouldn't call him, I'm a guy, why should I? You can tho....
Anyway what drives people coming to these forums quite often anyway? Just curious, 'cos I seem to come on more often now.

I can say for me that I lurked for a long, long while; only reading up on tidbits of info on the series as it was released. The only reason I ended up joining, though, was after installing TDS and not getting EAX to work, wanted to know if anyone knew what was up with it.
Now, I just stick around cause people tend to be fairly open and willing to help others here, and are open to debating different things. This isn't like some BBSes where users go ape-shit at the slightest mention of something that doesn't fall into their accepted idea of mainstream ideas and dogma.

For me, that is simple.
Thief: The Dark Project. (applause)
Anytime I'm jumping into a Dromed project, reliving the game, or just in need of some quick FM's, I find myself haunting this very board. I tend to not take anything else even remotely seriously. I am a Dark Project fanatic.

I started coming here years ago after having played TDP & TMA and finding out that there were FMs being created by dedicated fans all the time. I stuck around when I realized that this is a great community; something I'm happy to be a part of. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Depends what you mean by "special" :sly: When I am in the mood I can be eSPECIALly sarcastic. What is the main difference between sarcasm and cynicism anyway? One of them harsher than the other? Or one more truthful. Call me strange but everytime I see that word, I am thinking Cynicism Grahams, sounds like Cinnamon :nono:
Palantir on 27/4/2007 at 09:22
Cynicism is, say, more or less an attitude towards life(We say Garrett is cynical...)
While Sarcasm is just a way you acts upon something.... being "something made of iron"(not stony)
IMO.....

So I was right, cynicism can be harsher and more truthful than sarcasm. Yeah, I am not very cynical (apart from towards certain people themselves, say politicians and maybe the odd arrogant person). Sarcasm needs a little work. But there are few oppurtunities for me to be sarcastic, so I can't improve much.
I can imagine a cynical slogan for cynicism grahams now, "Contains 50% crap, your child will get fat"

For me TTLG (contributors) is summed up by it's extremes: ZB (knowledgable, but spiteful)
Read the (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=102289) openDarkEngine thread to find out how knowledgeable. ;)

Grundy's frequently poking about, searching things and reading new threads. He just never posts anything.
Oh, it's great to hear that he's still around.
Good old Grundy... now HE is a knowledgable guy. A real gentleman on top of that.
